US History Reflections
This year has been an interesting and fun year. I have learned a lot about US history and I have found that it interests me more than I expected. Ending the year by watching 13 Days was a good way to end the year. It can be a frustrating movie because the situation was so intense that the US had to decide to keep away from a nuclear war but to stop the threat of one. JFK defined "a new language" of war. A language that was more political than putting troops on the ground. The Cuban missile crisis was a success not only because we avoided a nuclear war, but discovered a new way of talking to more dominant countries.
